| Bio: | This journal is for my amateur comic strip "EFL Hell". I am currently teaching English through the "JET Programme" in Japan and EFL stands for "English as a Foreign Language". The strip is primarily a way for me to record my ideas about my time here but can also be enjoyed by other JETs, teachers of EFL, and ex-pats in general. I hope it shows in the strip that I have a fondness for the Japanese and that the humor is intended as gentle nudging instead of mockery.
The jokes are generally based in real life experiences (sometimes as told to me) but teachers and students are not diretly based on any real life teachers or students. That would be rude. New strips appear semi-weekly, by which I mean weekly but with unexpexted hiatuses. Looks best at a resolution of 1400x1050. You can click on the pirate or the user name to get to the comic strips.
